How Heavy Equipment Rentals Work
Reserve Your Machine in Missoula in Just a Few Simple Steps
1. Verify Insurance
Before equipment can be released, you must provide either (A) a valid Certificate of Insurance naming Western States Trailer and Auto as Additional Insured, or (B) a signed damage waiver with card authorization on file. The damage waiver fee is 15%.
Minimum required coverage:
• Commercial General Liability: $1,000,000 each occurrence / $2,000,000 general aggregate
• Rented Equipment / Inland Marine: physical damage, collision, theft, vandalism, fire, weather, transportation loss — limits must cover full replacement value of equipment
• Additional Insured: Western States Trailer and Auto, 4810 Highway 93 South, Missoula, MT
• Coverage must remain active throughout the entire rental period
2. Request Your Equipment Rental
Browse our available heavy equipment and submit a rental request online. Whether you need a telehandler, telescopic boom lift, or other specialized equipment, our team will review availability and confirm that all rental requirements have been met.
3. Complete Rental Documents & Payment
Once approved, you’ll receive a secure link to complete payment, sign rental agreements, and submit any required documentation. This ensures your equipment is reserved and ready for pickup on your scheduled rental date.
4. Pick Up Equipment & Get to Work
Visit our Missoula location to pick up your equipment. Our team will review equipment operation, safety requirements, and inspection procedures before releasing the unit. When your project is complete, simply return the equipment at the scheduled time.
