When ALCOM introduced the XLT Pro Series in early 2025, they made a deliberate manufacturing decision: build a high-quality aluminum trailer at a competitive price point by keeping production streamlined and standardized. No customization, no modifications, no special orders — just a consistent, well-built trailer rolling off the line efficiently.

That model works beautifully — until a buyer needs something different. The moment any change is requested outside the fixed XLT Pro spec, ALCOM can’t accommodate it on that production line. The order has to move to the Stealth Standard platform, which is built to be fully configurable from the ground up. Different production track. Different base price. And then your specific upgrades on top of that.

That’s not a dealer markup. It’s a manufacturer requirement — and understanding it is the key to making sense of any quote you receive.

What You Get with the XLT Pro

The XLT Pro is a genuinely excellent trailer — and for the right buyer, it’s hard to beat at the price. It’s built on Stealth’s proven all-welded, all-aluminum platform with an integrated frame design, and it comes loaded with everything most buyers actually need:

Where it stops: the XLT Pro is a closed production model. There are only slight axle configurations, minor door changes, basic height modifications, no electrical additions. What you see is what you get — by design.

What the Stealth Standard Opens Up

The Stealth Standard — is built on the same core aluminum platform, but it operates on an entirely different production track. This is ALCOM’s fully configurable lineup, and the list of what you can spec is nearly unlimited.

Want torsion axles? Available. Want a side door with a window, e-track in the floor, concession doors, upgraded floor material? All of it is specifiable on a Standard build. This is the trailer for buyers who have a specific use in mind and need the trailer built around it — not the other way around.

A Real-World Example of How the Price Jumps

Here’s a situation we see regularly. A customer spots our 7×14 XLT Pro and loves the price Then they ask: “Can we go to torsion axles, TPO Coin flooring, add a rear canopy, and put in a window?”

Every one of those changes takes the order off the XLT Pro line. We’re now quoting a Stealth Standard — which carries a higher base price before a single option is added. Then the actual upgrades go on top: the axle package, upgraded decking, etc.

Choose the XLT Pro if:
